Quilting

Not long after arriving in SA I achieved my dream of owning a Bernina sewing machine. The store had an upcoming 6 week quilting course, so I signed up for that as making a quilt was another dream!
The course was such fun and I made a lot of new friends. We were to make a 9 square 'Sampler Quilt', so called because it featured several of the most well known patterns used in quilting, so a good introduction for beginners to learn several techniques. I'll post the squares that went to make up the whole, and then the finished quilt. More later.

This square is called Drunkard's Path, I maintain it got the name
from driving beginners to drink trying to do it!
