my dragon

I took a break from project work to make a few cards, I have been meaning to use this dragon image for a long time, I love the crazy look of him. Not an easy one to photograph due to all the shimmer which is much more subtle IRL. I am really enjoying distressing, now I have plucked up my courage and taken the plunge: first time is the worst! The paper here is Basic Grey, what you can see of it.



He was coloured with various things including Colorbox and Versamark inks plus H20s.The flowers were made with grungepaper: a product I am becoming quite addicted to!they were coloured with H20s and edged with Krylon's gold leafing pen. The base die shape is also made with grungepaper, I used Ranger crackle paint and topped with gold leafing when dry then rubbed a little black soot DI to give a weathered look.
